Gorenje Jezero is a village on the southern edge of Lake Cerknica in the Cerknica Municipality in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia.[2]
The local church in the settlement to the southwest is dedicated to Saint Cantius and belongs to the Stari trg pri Ložu Parish.[3]
